Why I Am Here Today

To the Constituents of HD 150:

A little more than one year ago, I was driving down Kuykendahl on my way to work like I had done thousands of times before, and for some reason, something kept tugging at me. Driving around the District later in the day, particularly in the Spring area, I saw the same thing I'd noticed increasingly more in the last few years - vacant properties and empty lots. I felt as though the District I called home for more than 20 years, had forgotten the ENTIRE district, and that a valuable piece of the District, needed more representation. It was time to give back.

And that's why I am here today.

After what my family and I went through after the Recession in 2007 and 08, and the fact I was able to build my business back up after it was decimated, I knew I could bring that same work ethic, passion and energy to bringing quality leadership back to District 150.

Thus, last February, I began my journey. Blockwalking and talking to the good folks of District 150 over the next 13 months confirmed what I believed all along - I was not the only one who wanted a breath of fresh air in the District to address the falling property values and increased property crime. I was not the only one who felt the District was being inadequately represented.

And that's why I am here today.

13 months later, after all the nasty allegations from a 12-year incumbent who has spent the last six weeks spending more time talking about me than her own record, the message my staff and I have received from you has been clear - the time is now for a NEW Chapter in District 150. Talking to you at the early voting locations, I hear your concerns, I see what we have to do and the momentum we're taking into today, Election Day, has been an amazing feeling.

And that's why I am here today, to humbly ask for your help in braving the nasty conditions, exercising your right in the greatest country in the world and casting a vote for Tony Noun so EVERYONE in the District feels represented and we can have a more unified District moving forward.

The past 13 months have been hard work, but I'm a firm believer that when you work hard, anything can be accomplished. Let's go make history in District 150 today.

God Bless

Tony Noun

Bottomline: Accountability Now

They are convincing which are the points you have explained. I still think they are other blog posts that have stated great arguments and it’s going wild.
